The Brook Super Converter is a USB-based adapter designed to convert your Playstation 2 peripheral for use in the Xbox One console, or Windows PC. It does this without requiring authorization from an original gamepad. This unprecedented advancement makes the Brook Super Converter the most portable adapter on the market today.
The Brooks Super Converter has several convenient features to improve the control experience.
In addition, the Brook Super Converter is firmware upgradeable, which can be used to improve functionality, and add new features. Firmware updates are performed by attaching your device to a Windows PC, or Mac with Boot Camp partition or Parallels Virtual PC software.
As of now, the Brook Super Converter and Wingman series are allowed by EVO, one of the most popular global tournament events. Often EVO's policies are adopted at smaller tournaments. This policy is a tentative acceptance - should the converter become disabled via Sony firmware update before EVO, it could face a ban. You can learn more about it here.
The Brook Super Converter comes in its own professionally designed packaging. In the packaging is the device; paper instructions are also included in English and Taiwanese. You can also download the instructions as a PDF from the Support tab.

Perfect for using you PSX and PS2 pads on Xbox and PC. Plug and play. c: Oliver on Oct 20th 2019
This is ALMOST perfect. However, if there is one gripe I have with this is that it emulates an XB1 wireless controller rather than an elite, so I am not able to map trigger sensitivity. What this means is that L2 and R2 work like triggers rather than being simple button-presses. So if you're playing a game like, say, San Andreas and try to use L2 and R2 to control the rudder of the plane, you need to really press hard on the buttons to make them act as a "full" button press. And you cannot change trigger sensitivity with the Xbox Accessories app for a Wireless controller, only an Elite. Fix this and this is perfect. Unknown on Mar 10th 2018
My reason for not giving a perfect score is my "Digital R" steering wheel does not work well with Forza 5 to have a valid full 5 stars. However, if you love your Playstation 2 controllers and would love more controller options for your Xbox One (than spending $50 to $100+ on controllers) then give these guys your money for this. And get this...The original PS2 controller has better response time than a new Xbox system controller.
I know the new Xbox controller has "trigger" action for "to respond as you pull the trigger" but really I played my new DOOM with better speed using an 1990 PS2 controller than the standard system controller.
If you have two or three PS2 controllers laying unused in your home (even one), buy this and you will not regret the purchase.
One other note, the ANALOG button works great as the "XBOX" home button. Try it.
Thank you Focusattack for dusting off my old controllers and saving me MAD cash. Please also note, my best testing was using the standard PS2 controller. However I'm going to go shopping for some old PS2 controllers to try out and see if I get the same response.

Product works well on the PC to recognize it as an XB1 controller. Never tried it on an actual XB1 since I don't game on the console. However, I did find one PSX peripheral that did not work at all in either gamepad or steering wheel mode. I tried using my old NegCon on it and it will not work with the twist function which is the horizontal axis (steering) for driving games. Gus on Mar 25th 2016
