  • Product Description

    Brook, designers of this generation's multi-console PCBs and converters continue to evolve their line of Super Converters.  The Wingman XB 2 is an evolution of the popular multi-console to Xbox family converter, allowing even more connectivity between peripheral and consoles. Playstation 5, PS4, or PS3 gamepads, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and flavors of Xbox One or Xbox 360 gamepads (including X1 Elite 1 or 2) can attach and play.

    The Wingman XB adapts controllers from multiple consoles to the Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One\S\X or Xbox 360, receiving both wired USB and wireless bluetooth, and plugging directly into the respective console's USB ports. You can even connect to the original Xbox console with a specific USB to Xbox adapter cable (not provided, can purchase on eBay new-window-icon.png or Amazon new-window-icon.png). It also features PC X-Input support, allowing your favorite controller to work on your PC games, even if the peripheral doesn't have its own X-Input support.

    Full-Featured, Firmware Upgradeable

    The Brook Super Converter has several convenient features to improve the control experience.

    • Accepts FightSticks, wired and wireless gamepads and fightsticks across Xbox and Playstation, plus bluetooth support for wireless console and USB controllers.
    • Supports mapping a single or combination of buttons to a Turbo function for rapid fire play.
    • Ability to hot-swap peripherals without unplugging the device from the console.
    • Vibration and up to 5 levels of Turbo support.
    • Mappable buttons from peripheral to Xbox One/Xbox 360 control
    • X-Input support


    In addition, the Brook Wingman XB 2 is firmware upgradeable, which can be used to improve functionality, and add new features.  Firmware updates are performed by attaching your device to a Windows PC, or Mac (when applicable)

    Tournament Acceptance

    As of now, the Brook Super Converter and Wingman series are allowed by EVO, one of the most popular global tournament events.  Often EVO's policies are adopted at smaller tournaments. This policy is a tentative acceptance - should the converter become disabled via Sony firmware update before EVO, it could face a ban.  You can learn more about it here. new-window-icon.png
