Mini.FS Studio!

FA Plexworks Mini.FS StudioTitle

Over the years, many of you have submitted artwork for Plexworks print and cut services without using our templates. Others, who couldn't use the templates, often asked for a preview of their artwork—and that's totally understandable. Working with unfamiliar graphic design software can be challenging and take time. Maybe you don’t own a desktop or laptop, but you still want to put your favorite theme on your Fightstick or Flatbox.

FA Plexworks Mini.FS is a free, simple to use web app that makes submitting artwork for print and cut quick and easy. Just place your graphic on a virtual canvas, and adjust it to fit your fightstick. You can even add overlays like console button labels or logos. Hit “Publish,” and it’s ready to add to your cart—exactly how you designed it. It comes to us ready to print.

This app works on desktop, tablet, and phone. Mini.FS Studio launches Friday, August 1, in BETA with support for select fightstick models starting with newest or most popular. Just look for the “Create in Mini.FS Studio” badge on eligible listings.

We’ll continue adding more models over time until all previous ones are supported. All future models will launch directly in the app as well.

Complete Overhaul to Custom Job Tracker

If you’re familiar with FA Plexworks, we’ve completely revamped the Custom Job Tracker! You no longer need to enter your order ID—just log in to your store account and visit the tracker site. From there, you can view your order status, read staff notes, and submit updates or corrections through our new interface.

If you placed your order using Mini.FS Studio, you can also submit updates directly within the app.

The new Custom Job Tracker launches Friday, August 1. Want to learn how it works? Check out the full guide in our Support Portal.

2025 Challenges

If you’ve made it this far, thank you—and let me be honest with you. 2025 has been one of the most challenging years in my 15 years of running this business. The U.S. economy is in uncertain territory, consumer confidence has dropped sharply since January, the dollar has weakened, and rising tariffs have made importing more costly.

On top of that, the FGC market has shifted. The rise of "Flatboxes"—affordable, portable all-button controllers inspired by the Snackbox Micro—has changed the landscape. These all-in-one devices are great for players but offer limited opportunities for mods or spare parts, which are essential for a retail store like ours.

But that doesn't mean the future is bleak. In fact, it’s opened new doors. Our FA Plexworks custom services—like artwork, plexi, foam, and other materials—have grown into a major part of our business. They don’t rely on imports, allowing us to keep prices fair and focus on quality. Even better, they let us support the evolving fightstick and flatbox scene in meaningful ways.

That’s why I’ve invested heavily in building new tools and apps—like Mini.FS and the updated Job Tracker—to help us grow alongside the community.

Thank you for continuing to support us. It means the world, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
