The KDiT ALU balltop offers the same attractive anodized aluminum finish of our ALU battops into the popular Japanese style balltop. The ALU balltop is a bit heavier than the plastic or glass equivalent. You can bundle your order with a 2lb Tension Spring for Sanwa JLF to manage the extra weight if desired.
Every color of the KDiT ALU series balltop has the equivalent color of our JLF-ALU Shaft and Dustwasher set.
This balltop fits the Sanwa and Seimitsu line of joysticks that accept 35mm. That includes our common line of Sanwa JLF joysticks, such as the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, Sanwa JLF-TRG-8YTH.SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, and Seimitsu joysticks. Note that Seimitsu joysticks have a heavier spring.
I love these ball tops the color depends on your personal taste. I have bought several colors to match my sticks. I don't favor plastic tops due to them being hot in my hand. These however stay cool to the touch. I love them for that same reason. In not sure if the are a bit larger too but the seem to fit my hand a lot better than the stock ones. Abel on Dec 26th 2017
This is a good looking handle, but compare that weight to other balltops. It's pretty heavy Which changes the feel and weight distribution of the stick. With a stock Sanwa half spring, it causes the stick to bounce a bit too far in the opposite direction when returning to neutral, so I'm going to try a heavier spring to see if it compensates for it.
The weight aside, it's a good looking top. It's a bit textured which is kinda nice for the grip.
