Dual Action. The KDiT 35mm bi-color joystick balltop features an exquisite primary color blend with an additional bonus - LED compatibility.
The threaded insert used to secure the balltop to the joystick shaft is hollow. Coupled with a hollow joystick shaft, you can wire a small (3x5mm) single white or RGB LED.
Many of the colors available to the KDiT Kori Balltop series has an approximate color similarity to Sanwa's OBSC Series of pushbuttons, shafts and dustwashers. The bi-color balltops are currently available in three color combinations: Red/Purple, Green/Yellow, and Violet/Blue.
This balltop fits the Sanwa and Seimitsu line of joysticks that accept 35mm. That includes our common line of Sanwa JLF joysticks, such as the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, Sanwa JLF-TRG-8YTH.SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, and Seimitsu joysticks.
So first off, this thing looks stellar and was a perfect match for the artwork on my stick. Perfectly smooth with no flaws upon arrival.
However....
After a few months of use I did discover that the color is just a coating, as it started to peel and flake off. It started catching on my fingers and became a huge distraction during play, so I ended up switching balltops.
I guess what I'm getting at is is take care and be gentle if you're going to get this balltop. Slightly bummed, but I definitely got some mileage out of it. Adam on Dec 27th 2021
Really not much to say. It is a ball top that looks good. Some guy on Dec 9th 2020
Looks great, feels great, doesn't have any casting flash I can feel on the knob. Screws right in and works, actually looks BETTER in person than in the picture. Jason on Jun 13th 2019
Absolutely great nob. Was easy to put on and no flaws in the epoxy. What more good a girl ask for. Unknown on Jun 8th 2019
Red and blue complements my red and blue button scheme very well! RJ on Aug 18th 2018
I wanted a ball to for my Hori Hayabusa just stick that I couldn't feel the plastic center on, as mine kept giving me a blister. I found this and it seems perfect as I was using a switch stick. (Red and blue are the systems colors) it feels great and it looks fantastic.
btw I've tried it on the Santa JLF, Semetsu LS32 and a hori hayabusa and it works for all 3 Dave on Jul 25th 2018
The red is very very pronounced and the blue is kind of hard to see unless it is in the right lighting. Still looks very unique and cool. Bubbletop version of this would be sick! G on Jan 26th 2017
Great grip in hand, look great and seems to be durable !
