The 2lb tension spring for Sanwa JLF replaces the existing spring found in the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, or Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, adding 1.1lb more force than the original. This results in a stiffer joystick, which is favored amongst some players who don't like the loose feel of the JLF. Using this spring, you no longer have to combine the original with a LS-32 to achieve the same level of tension.

Save when bundled with Sanwa JLF, FA Nippon ALU products

Now you can save 35 cents on the 2lb JLF spring when you bundle it with the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT JoystickSanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y-SK Joystick (No Plate Installed) or FA Nippon ALU battops.  Just choose "Add 2lb JLF Tension Spring" from listing options.

    1. A MUST FOR JLF JOYSTICKS

Switched out the stock/standard spring to this and it works wonders highly reccommend this for those who prefers a stiffer feel on May 1st 2018

    2. Perfect spring for JLF sticks

I switched out my stock Hori Hayabusa for the Sanwa JLF on my Hori RAP V. The stick felt a little better, but it still wasn't to my liking, so I purchased this 2lb spring, the extended hollow shaft, circle restrictor gate, and the battop. Shoryukens now come as naturally as they did in the arcades back in the 90's. It's like I never stopped playing! on Apr 30th 2018

    3. great spring upgrade for JLF

used this to spring mod some of my JLFs.
      worked great!

(tho at first they were a little too stiff, they break in to a perfect feel)

    4. A definite improvement for movements

This spring was exactly what I needed to improve my movements in tekken. The stock spring in my hori rap n fightstick was just too light and made my fightstick too wobbly. on Apr 27th 2018

    5. Excellent Product

Great product! Really helps offset the added weight of the aluminum battop. Works great with the balltop as well. This really helped with the feel of the stick when executing commands. Before getting this, I was having trouble with dashes (F, F / B, B) because of how little the out of box spring pushes back on the stick, this helped with that a lot. Also helped make execution feel much tighter and controlled.

I also have the 4lb tensioner but found it was a little too much for my liking but could see how it could be useful if you're playing a game that requires the stick to return to neutral a lot.

    6. Great spring, very heavy

I replaced the 1lb spring in my stock RAP 4 Kai with this spring to make it more tactile and precise. It worked beautifully, but was a little too stiff. I'm sticking with it in the meanwhile but if this is your first time swapping out springs in your RAP 4, I would suggest a 1.5lb spring to start with. on Mar 10th 2018

    7. Works great in a Hayabusa

Works exactly as you'd expect. on Mar 7th 2018

    8. Breaks in nicely

Bought this to replace the spring on my semi new hori rap4 kai. Spring started a little snug but loosened up with a couple sessions of use. on Mar 2nd 2018

    9. 2lbs spring upgrade

Wow I installed this 2lb spring onto my Qanba Q1w stock stick. It fit perfectly and improved the feel so much. The 4lb was to stiff for my liking. on Feb 16th 2018

    10. Improved Handling in Hayabusa

In my HRAP N Hayabusa stick I currently have this spring, a KOWAL 1mm actuator and Octopus gate. I love this combo as it has not only reduced the throw distance on my lever, but also gives me 8 corners of contact should I end up riding the gate. The spring itself helps tighten up the loose feeling on the Hayabusa which in turn gives me more precise control.

Excellent products all around and very fast service from FocusAttack.com, even with the cheapest shipping option (probably doesn't hurt that their facility only about two hours away from my home, lol).

      Thanks FocusAttack!
