The Seimitsu pressure spring base keeps the the resistance spring in place while moving around the LS-32 main base. This is a replacement part for the LS-32 and 32-01 series joysticks.
I bought 2 of these pressure spring bases (aka "spring holders") to upgrade 2 clone joysticks similar to the LS-32. (My recommendation: buy the legitimate LS-32 so you don't have to upgrade crap! LOL)
Anyway, you need the proper spring base to hold the stock LS-32 spring accurately. Other spring holders including those by clone manufacturers just don't grip the LS-32 spring properly OR it gets stuck in them and you don't get the right tension. This is an overlooked part of the joystick and you don't appreciate how critical is until you try other models of joystick where they just didn't get it quite right.
I wish they sold the LS-32 actuators in the States, too. A time could time that I could use a new actuator to replace worn part in an older LS-32. GC on Jan 24th 2021
