Available in 10 delicious colors, the KDiT ALU Series aluminum battop is modeled after the high quality Sanwa LB-30 N-S battop. Fans of the battop now have additional choices to model their Fightstick or Arcade Cabinet. At 70 grams, the ALU battop is slightly heavier than the plastic equivalent, but still quite manageable. You can bundle our 2lb Tension Spring for Sanwa JLF to leverage the additional weight.
Each ALU Series battop comes with a free battop adapter for Sanwa or Seimitsu joysticks that accept 35mm balltops, such as Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick, or Seimitsu LS 32 01 Joystick.
Every color of the KDiT ALU series battop has the equivalent color of our JLF-ALU Shaft and Dustwasher set.
Your battop may come with a small metal washer. It is included to address a manufacturing issue with some older iterations of the ALU battop, depending on KDiT's production run.
The small metal washer included with each JLF-ALU Battop is designed to address a manufacturing deficiency with the product, which causes the battop to install lower than it should, and decrease movement of the JLF joystick.
Place the metal washer atop the shaft of your JLF joystick. | Screw your battop adapter atop the washer. |
Screw the battop onto the shaft and battop adapter | The battop should now move more freely. |
Bought this to finish off my personal fightstick after putting it on a few friends arcade machines and hearing how great it was compared to the lighter sanwa battops. The weight is good but i would highly recommend the increased spring wight (2lbs). Also a good choice in colours. J2 on Jun 10th 2017
If you grew up in the states chances are you played with more battop then balltop joysticks in the arcade. Its exactly what you think it would be. Would recommend this to anyone that have bigger hands or for those that don't like the grip of the balltops. Unknown on Jun 4th 2017
I picked this up not too long ago for a bit of a change from the standard balltop and I was not disappointed. Great weight and comfort made doing directional inputs a bit easier and smoother for me. Unknown on Dec 15th 2016
Feels gr8. Ha, I mixed it up. With the 2lb spring there's some noticeable shake when the spring returns to center when making 'testing' motions with the stick; however, with my natural movements during play, everything comes out nicely. Stock, ~1lb, spring had prominent SOCDs Ky on Oct 12th 2016
I bought this to replaced my sanwa battop. With this aluminum battop it just feels right with the 2lb tension coil I bought. I also love the cool feeling of the battop. It looks a lot better than the sanwa one too. Both are good but I don't think i'll be going back to the sanwa one unless I take out my 2lb tension coil. KetoPower on Apr 17th 2016
