Sometimes you just need enough to get the job done.
Sanwa and Seimitsu joysticks make use of silicone grease to lubricate the joystick shaft's pivot cylinder. This allows for fluid movement during play. All joysticks come with a small amount of the grease already applied, but it can wear down over time.
Before now, you could purchase only the Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease G-40M (100g) or Seimitsu-specific G-501 (80g) tube. For most, this was enough for several years or several hundred applications. This was potentially overkill, and expensive depending on your intended use.
FA.DAB.S contains just that - a small dab of the same quality Shin-Etsu silicone grease that is available in the 80g G-501 tube. This is perfect for several applications, and at a price that makes joystick maintenance a cheap affair. The G-501 Shinetsu grease is standard in Seimitsu joysticks, such as the LS-32/32-01, LS-33, LS-40/40-01, and LS-56/58 family.
Each dab is encased in a .20 ounce vial with flip cap with label. Applying the Shine-Etsu grease from the FA.DAB vial to your joystick is easy. Check out the helpful video by Joey Wainright for application tips.
Seemingly received less than what was pictured, but haven't weighed it out tbh. However, a little but of this stuff is great for smoothing your pivots. You'll get multiple uses out of just one order. Brian M on May 15th 2022
I got two of these and I used a quater of one to regrease my pivot as I changed the shaft of two levers. Highly recommend and great price. Chris on Jan 24th 2020
It’s just a dab but I’ve already used it for three sticks and can’t see that I’ve used any really, one dab goes a long way and super inexpensive Unknown on Mar 29th 2019
Ive bought both joystick lubricants and i have to say that the shin-etsu is smoother and thinner in viscosity than the other lubricant. perfect for lubricating pivots! Unknown on May 10th 2016
