The Sanwa JLF P4 pivot replaces the current pivot in your JLF series joystick. The pivot allows free movement of your joystick shaft inside of the base, and is usually lubricated with Shin-Etsu or Dow Molycoat grease.

Well from a couple of bargains I endup having 3 fightsticks, so I decide to get some spare parts just in case.
This pivot feels alike the one in the JLF that the Madcatz have so I'm happy with it. Andres Serrano Garcia on Aug 10th 2018

After you've had a stick for a while, or you play in a dusty/smokey environment you might feel like your JLF starts to 'stick' in a position or feel a little 'rough' when you move the stick. This can be due to the Pivot needing lubrication or maybe being ruined. If it goes too long un-lubricated it can get divots or grooves in the pivot leading to long returns to neutral or being tough to move. If you go too long without that lube you'll need to replace the pivot and that is what this is for, don't replace the whole stick, replace the pivot(make sure you lubricate it well first) and get back in the fight. These are especially useful to have on hand if you are restoring an old stick like a TE Round One or older that has a JLF in it. Argnoth on Apr 11th 2016
