The KDiT Kori offers a translucent, Sanwa JLF, Seimitsu LS, and Hori Hayabusa compatible 35mm balltop with a hollow threading for LED lighting.
"Kori" in Japanese means "ice". Each of the available 8 deliciously colored battops are designed to represent a close match with Sanwa OBSC series pushbutton, plus Seimitsu K and KN series pushbutton.
The standout feature in the Kori family is its 5mm diameter hollow threading, which easily screws onto the shaft of popular Sanwa JLF series, Seimitsu LS series, and Hori Hayabusa joysticks. Coupled with a hollow joystick shaft, you can wire a small (3x5mm) single white or RGB LED.
What can I say? This balltop, out the bag, appeared and felt like your standard balltop, but upon installing it onto a lever, you can see how much it stands out. It's not translucent, but it's as the brand says, hollow. You will see through objects like a mirror, but it's frosted in a way that it's not completely see-through. It's unique, but subtle enough to the point where it isn't distracting.
The price of the balltop isn't expensive either, with the closest comparison I can make to this being the Seimitsu LB-39 bubble top. I can say this looks even better than that, if you're looking for a very clean look. Overall I definitely recommend this. CLK on May 10th 2018
I got this to match my custom art, and it fits nicely on my Sanwa JLF stick. Kaiba on May 23rd 2017
I preordered two of these, one red one for a new build and a green to replace a cracked Sanwa balltop, very impressed by the quality. Looks just as good if not better, has the hollow threading so you can use an LED if you want, and best of all they're both completely smooth, no seams or anything. Cameron on Sep 23rd 2016
