1. Fits the 8bitdo arcade stick..

   The LS-56-01 fits in the 8bitdo arcade stick but only with the mounting plate from the stock stick that came with the unit. Without the stock mounting plate the bottom of the shaft will scrape against the bottom of the case. Joe K on Oct 1st 2023

2. Excellent

   I got a used TES+ and tried to swap the JLF to a Seimitsu ls-32 but the fit was too tight. I decided to try the ls-56 since it has a much smaller profile. To my surprise it feels great. Similar to ls-40 but not as sensitive so I don't get accidental inputs, but more sensitive than a JLF. The only con I can think of is the spring is a little too light for my taste but the lever returns to neutral fast enough. John on May 4th 2023

3. Great feeling stick!

   Had never really played with a Seimitsu stick, only really used Sanwa everything, but after making the switch I can say this has greatly helped me improve in fighting games. It just feels so easy to pull off moves.
   The only downside is that 2 of the 4 directions gives me the dreaded "squeak" noise, coming from the microswitch. Looks like there is a way you can pry open the microswitch and clean it, but honestly it started squeaking 2 days after use. (Roughly around 6 hours of use at that point). If it wasn't for that I would have given it a perfect 5. EC on Apr 13th 2022

4. For all games, not just shooting, and at a competitive level

   The shooting tag of these sticks is undeserved, and likely a move created by Sanwa to rid competition. The LS-56 is an incredible piece of art. Its short throw is second to none. With a bat top and octagonal gate are perfect and reminds you of an American stick. Seimitsu buttons also have the clicky American feel. They say the LS-32 is the model of Seimitsu, but it is the LS-56. FA is trying to sell different variations of the thing (with all due respect), but there is nothing wrong with the original. Get an LS-56-01, and the universal gate for wood panels. You will love it! 30 years gaming experience talking here. Unknown on Nov 12th 2021

5. The best for shooters!

   I play (and even make) arcade shooting games. When you need a tight feel with a short throw, for these precise arcade games, this is pretty much the best. I put an OEM Seimitsu octagonal gate on all of mine as well, for even better control.
   
   Want more fun? Try this tip! While I love the black shaft cover, to get more of a traditional metal shaft look, try updating your stick with the translucent smoke shaft cover. Keep the black dust washer, use the smoke shaft cover, and add a balltop color of your desire. It will look awesome - on some angles of light, it will look a bit more metallic, but others it will just look dark & menacing. Great stick, must buy! Marc M. on Aug 21st 2020

6. WORTH IT!

   This is a very versatile stick. If you're looking for a lever that's great for shooters, high execution fighters (especially 90s SNK fighters), and advanced movements in Tekken, then look no further. While it takes some getting used to it, you'll soon come to appreciate it. The tightness of the lever along with the shorter throw can improve your execution, provided if you prefer tighter sticks. And oddly enough, if it wasn't for the spring, the LS 56 feels very similar to Korean sticks like the Crown 309MJ and Myoungshin Fanta in firmness. Overall, I recommend buying it. I installed this in the Qanba Dragon. The firmness accommodates the weight of the Dragon very well. GoliathBeast on Aug 4th 2020

7. Very snappy, love it

   Was looking for something a little different from the usual and the super quick, easy movement of this stick is fantastic. Takes some getting used to, I tend to press too hard on some inputs when I don't have to. Cool and good Unknown on Jan 27th 2020

8. A big improvement

   I have used Suzo Happ and X-Gaming joysticks previously. Though these were satisfactory, switching to Seimitsu made a big improvement. This joystick is faster, and much more responsive. 9. A better JLF

   First of all I just want to start off with a thank you to the team at Focus attack. I was looking for a stick that was a little stiffer, a slightly shorter throw, more accurate inputs, and was compatible with my Razer atrox. I had little to no idea where to even start, because there is a bit of a learning curve to the differences. I message Focusattack with what I was looking for and the very next day they responded with this stick. It has been perfect.This is compatible with any sanwa jlf housing and it has a direct disconnect wire harness.
   I highly recommend this stick to anyone who wants a Tighter and better feeling JLF. And super kudos to focus stack who has repeatedly just been the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Ted on Jun 23rd 2019

10. Tight and responsive, very good for arcade and action games.

    I was skeptical of dropping cash on a Seimitsu stick, especially since shipping to my country is pretty expensive, but after one session with this new stick I'm a convert.
    
    I fitted it into my PS3 Hori RAP V3.SA and matched it with a 45mm balltop. I mainly play shmups and arcade games, and after a few runs of Fire Shark, OutZone and Truxton 2 I could feel the difference. The shorter travel helped inputs come out faster, and the increased resistance helps me keep fine control under pressure.
    
    Really impressed with this after years of using Sanwa JLFs. Highly recommended. HGB on Oct 3rd 2018
